Winter storm warnings have been issued in four states: Oregon, Washington, California and Minnesota. In northwestern Oregon and parts of Washington, including the Willapa Hills, there will be light snow showers until midnight Friday. Cities impacted include Mary's Peak, Brooklyn, Sunset Summit, Wilson River Summit, Valsetz, and Horton.

A winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 2:48 p.m. valid from Thursday 4 p.m. until Friday 10 a.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County.

Winter storms are about to blitz through the eastern half of the United States at a frenetic pace that could continue for a couple of weeks.
