Poland and Canada have signed an agreement that provides a legal framework for more intensive cooperation on nuclear power, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Tuesday after meeting his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau.

Today, the Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, concluded his trip to Warsaw, Poland, where he signed the landmark Canada-Poland Nuclear Cooperation Agreement alongside the Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk.

Poland and Canada have strengthened their nuclear power collaboration, according to an announcement made by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Tuesday. This agreement serves as a legal basis for more intensive cooperation on nuclear power between the two nations.

Canada and Poland have signed a deal which will allow Canadian companies to support Polish efforts to begin generating nuclear power, once it takes effect.
