Johntay Cook II, who transferred from Texas to Washington, is leaving the Huskies football program less than a month after committing to the school.

Former Texas Longhorns wide receiver Johntay Cook II showed flashes of greatness on the field as a freshman in 2023, but his sophomore season didn't go as planned. Cook "mutually parted ways," with the Longhorns in early November after playing in six games.

Cook left the Texas program during the season and committed to Washington on December 28, but is already parting ways with the Huskies.
