After a man died from a drug overdose in January, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of the woman who allegedly sold him fentanyl. According to jail records, Samantha Sheehan was arrested Wednesday and charged with manslaughter.

A Foley woman was arrested on Wednesday in connection with a fentanyl overdose death, according to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. According to a BCSO news release,

Marcus Roach, 41, of Gastonia, was charged with felony death by distribution following a fentanyl overdose investigation that began in January 2024, authorities said.

Five people were taken into custody late last week after a 14-month-old toddler overdosed on fentanyl and “stopped breathing for a substantial amount of time.”
