Starbucks rolls out new initiatives in order to bring forth a sense of community, and one of these initiatives is returning to writing names on cups.

For customer comfort, Starbucks also recently implemented a Customer Code of Conduct, which prohibits discrimination, violence, consumption of outside alcohol, smoking, drug use and panhandling. It also reverses its bathroom and "hanging out" policies, reserving those privileges for paying customers only.
