An Amber Alert was issued in Wisconsin Monday night for 16-year-old Sophia Martha Franklin. The alert originated out of Beaver Dam in Dodge County. Franklin, 16, is believed to be with Gary F. Day, 40.

According to court filings, Day was arrested on Dec. 10, 2024 in Lonoke County, Arkansas on charges of interfering with custody and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is scheduled for a court appearance in that case on Feb. 24 for an arraignment.

The Beaver Dam Police Department said 16-year-old Sophia Martha Franklin was last seen at her home on Sunday night, Feb. 2, around 9 p.m. Police said Franklin is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs around 186 pounds. She has brown hair and blue eyes.
