In an appearance on the "The Herd" with Colin Cowherd, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Jim Harbaugh said that the team does need help at any position

Jim Harbaugh has earned the reputation of the ultimate program builder. After successful turnarounds with the San Francisco 49ers and his Michigan Wolverines, Harbaugh is on pace to do it again.

The Los Angeles Chargers are focused squarely on the task at hand, facing the Cleveland Browns on the road in Week 9. But as soon as the game is over — win or lose — the focus will shift to whether or not the team will make a deal before the November 5 trade deadline.

A fresh haircut isn't the only thing that had coach Jim Harbaugh feeling good on Monday. His Los Angeles Chargers are 5-3 at the midway point of the season and in possession of the AFC's sixth seed after Sunday's 27-10 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

It does smack of coachspeak, especially when Harbaugh hit the interview with a "all competitors are welcome” slogan to sort of hedge his bets in case the team does make a trade.
