Bucs coach Todd Bowles defended his decision to kick a tying extra point and not try a two-point conversion for a shot at a victory Monday night against the Chiefs.

The Buccaneers had a chance to try to take a late lead on the Chiefs in their "Monday Night Football" matchup. Instead, Todd Bowles went for the tie.

Of course, overtime could have been avoided entirely if not for one decision from Todd Bowles after the Buccaneers scored a touchdown late in the fourth quarter. Rather than go for a two-point conversion and have a chance to end the game in regulation, Bowles opted to kick a PAT to even the score at 24.
