Several people were displaced after a fire broke out in Prince George’s County on Thursday afternoon. Prince George’s County Fire Department (PGFD) crews responded to a home in the 2500 block of Fire House Road in Dodge Park just after 3 p.

An 84-year-old woman is dead after a fire started in a townhouse in Oxon Hill Tuesday night, according to the Prince George's County Fire Department.

The deputies were executing a warrant on Tuesday evening after the tenant had been served an eviction notice. Sheriff's deputies responded to the home on Winter Green Avenue in District Heights to serve the notice. Once there, deputies found a dead body inside the home.

A shed in Prince George County was marked a “total loss” after a fire early Wednesday morning. In the early morning hours on Wednesday, Jan. 29, Prince George County Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to a structure fire in the 16600 block of Jolly Road.
