More than two months after Vice President Kamala Harris lost to President-elect Donald Trump, the joint fundraising committee she set up with the Democratic National Committee is still charging recurring donors,

Mike Nellis, head of the Democratic online fundraising firm Authentic, said when his clients’ campaigns end in defeat, “there’s an expectation that they’re going to shut down the recurring donations because there’s no need.”

Some of Vice President Kamala Harris' monthly recurring campaign donors may be surprised to see her campaign is still taking money out of their accounts despite losing the election more than two months ago.
