A woman was stabbed Saturday while riding a Metro bus in downtown Los Angeles. The assault occurred just before 7 a.m.

A 34-year-old man is being held without bond after he allegedly assaulted a woman waiting for a bus in Winchester, leaving her with a serious injury that will require surgery.
