A bear will keep on moving if there is nothing tasty to eat such as bird seed, unsecured garbage or a food-splattered grill, DNR officials said.

The large omnivores are pushing further south in the Lower Peninsula, which thousands now calling the region home. That means an increase in interactions with residents.
