The first news on the second season of Netflix’s mystery comedy A Man on the Inside has been revealed. The series is to take on an anthology format with Ted Danson’s Charles focusing on a new case with a new cast of characters,

Mary Steenburgen, an Oscar-winning actor who is married to Ted Danson, joins the cast of Danson's show A Man on the Inside for season 2.

The series, which hails from creator Mike Schur, follows Charles (Danson), a retired man who gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private investigator and becomes a mole in a secret investigation in a nursing home. It's based on the documentary The Mole Agent, a 2021 Oscar nominee for Best Documentary feature.
