We might not know what the Chicago Cubs 2025 season will look like just yet, but we do know one thing—they’ll look good doing it. On Thursday, the team unveiled their “Blues Alternate” uniforms for the upcoming season.

The Chicago Cubs are set to host the annual Cubs Con convention this weekend in the city but before the festivities start, the franchise had some news.

The Blues alternate uniform, as the Cubs call it, a tribute to Chicago's contribution to the electric blues movement—and their first time wearing baby blues since 1981.

There is a long list of things that the city of Chicago has become known for around the globe. Day games at Wrigley Field certainly make the list, as would the vibrant blues scene and its part in music’s history and evolution.
