The bad news is that the Texas Rangers missed out on Baseball America’s newly minted top overall prospect when Japanese right-hander Roki Sasaki picked the Los Angeles Dodgers over them and everyone else.

Baseball America has released their 2025 top 100 prospect list, and as we expected, there are three Texas Rangers players on the list. Pitcher Kumar Rocker is the highest ranked Ranger prospect on the list,

As the site drops its top 10 prospect list for every position, the Rangers were yet to have any names pop up at catcher, nor first, second or third base. But the 18-year-old Walcott is listed by Pipeline as the No. 4 shortstop in all of baseball.
