Construction is underway at numerous sites in Seaside Heights, but the property officials once thought would jumpstart redevelopment remains vacant.

Morehouse College, celebrating its 158th anniversary on Friday, plans to make another kind of history by breaking ground on a new phase of construction.

As it celebrates its 158th anniversary this weekend, Morehouse College broke ground Friday on its “Campus of the Future” construction initiative.
