Justin Turner still hears about it when he heads back to his wife’s hometown in Northwest Indiana. There are a lot of Cubs fans in that part of the state, and they remember his devastating postseason

The Chicago Cubs recently agreed to a contract with infielder Justin Turner. In order to make room for Turner, the Cubs reportedly designated outfielder Alexander Canario for assignment, according to Jesse Rogers of ESPN.

Turner has reported to camp and is prepping for his first workout with the team, per Bruce Levine of 670 The Score. The Cubs still haven’t formally announced the signing, but his presence in camp surely means an announcement and corresponding 40-man move are imminent.
