Authorities in South Carolina are searching for the driver responsible for fatally hitting a pedestrian and leaving the scene.
Matthew Thimons appeared in court on Thursday to request bond after being denied in July and November 2024. In July, the South Carolina Highway Patrol said two cars crashed and both drivers had to be airlifted to the hospital where 36-year-old Christopher Price died.

The driver, identified by the Horry County Coroner’s Office as 31-year-old Darius Holmes, was the only person in the car. Holmes died from his injuries. SCHP is investigating the crash.
