Couple driving ‘fake fire engine’ arrested trying to enter Palisades fire evacuation zone - Dustin and Jennifer Nehl claimed to be from Oregon’s ‘Roaring River Fire Department’ – then officials realiz

Two people from Oregon were arrested for posing as firefighters in the Pacific Palisades area, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies say that the two claimed to be members of the "Roaring River Fire Department" in Oregon and that the firetruck they were driving was purchased through an auction.

The Los Angles County Sheriff's Department said the couple were wearing CAL-Fire T-shirts under their gear, which included helmets and radios.
