Donald Trump’s executive order is blocking Minnesotans and others across the country from applying to change their gender marker on federal identification cards.

A transgender woman serving in a federal prison has filed a lawsuit arguing that President Donald Trump's executive order directing the U.S. government to recognize only two, unchangeable sexes and requiring inmates like her to be housed in men's prisons violates the U.

Transgender rights advocacy groups filed a lawsuit Tuesday against President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, challenging an executive order meant to block transgender troops from joining the military.

The board voted to change the name and took its request to the county commissioners. When the county agreed, the request was then sent to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, which made it official for Minnesota. Then, the state of Minnesota sent the request to the Board on Geographic Names, which made it official for the entire U.S.

Google says it will take its cue from the U.S. government if it has to change the names of the Gulf of Mexico and Denali on its Maps service

Google said it would rename the body of water to “Gulf of America” after it is updated in the U.S. government system in response to Trump’s executive order.
