Marquette County officials removed a 10-year-old special needs child from his home for a child abuse investigation.

Two parents were charged in Marquette County after Child Protective Services obtained allegations they had abused their 10-year-old son, who has special needs.

Authorities said the parents locked the 10-year-old boy “in a closet for several hours a day over the period of several months.”
