David Moyes is hopeful Seamus Coleman will continue to play an important role at Everton next season. The club captain’s current contract is due to expire at the end of the campaign and, after another season blighted by injuries, it is unclear what the future holds for the 36-year-old.
Club captain Coleman, 36, is out of contract in the summer and the Republic of Ireland defender has only made four appearances as he battles injury. He’s currently out and Moyes says he will miss Everton ’s clash with Wolves at Molineux on Saturday night.
