The UConn football program reached the nine-win mark for just the third time in its FBS history with a 27-14 victory over North Carolina in the Fenway Bowl.

The UConn Huskies will face the North Carolina Tar Heels in the 2024 Fenway Bowl game on Saturday. The Tar Heels finished their season 6-6, while UConn went 8-4. In the all-times series between the two teams, the Huskies have lost all three times. But, the Heels have lost their last four bowl games. UConn and UNC last faced off in 2009.

UNC fell behind early against UConn in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl on Saturday and couldn't keep up with the Huskies in the first half.
