Celtic extended their lead over Rangers at the top of the William Hill Premiership to 13 points with a routine 3-0 home win over St Mirren.

St Mirren made life difficult for a spell, pressing Celtic and not giving up much by way of clear-cut chances. That resistance was broken by a fabulous opening goal for the hosts.
