A penalty from Dominic Solanke was enough to send Tottenham Hotspur through to the Europa League semifinals. Tottenham Hotspur have had a season to forget in the Premier League, but they are very much still alive in the Europa League.

Tottenham snatched an aggregate 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt to reach the Europa League semi-finals on Thursday after Dominic Solanke converted from the spot to secure a 1-0 win in the second leg of their quarter-final.

On Tuesday, the Europa League quarterfinals will come to a close and every match is a close one. All eyes will be on Manchester United and Tottenham as they look to save poor Premier League seasons, but the road to the final on May 21 in Bilbao will be quite a journey for the remaining clubs.
