Indian filmmaker Payal Kapadia's historic nominations for Best Director and Best Motion Picture in a Non-English Language at the 2025 Golden Globes for her film 'All We Imagine As Light' ended without a win.

Though Payal didn’t win an award at the Golden Globes, she made history as the first Indian director ever to be nominated for Best Director.

Filmmaker Payal Kapadia lost the Golden Globe Award in the Best Director category to Brady Corbet. She was nominated for her film, All We Imagine As Light.
