A Winter Weather Advisory begins at noon Wednesday and continues through early Thursday morning. Light snow showers begin Wednesday morning, turning to a freezing rain threat by evening and into the night.

Weather Advisory in effect across Metro Detroit with icy streets and sidewalks across the area. Temps will eventually climb above 32° this afternoon before the winds pick up.
