A man tied to unusual high school incidents in metro Atlanta denies wrongdoing, saying he "did nothing illegal" after meeting students and giving them gifts.

School officials say a suspicious man who tried to contact and meet Gwinnett County students had tried to become a student at a Hall County high school this week.
