Over a decade has passed now since The Witcher author Andrzej Sapkowski released Season of Storms, with his brand-new book Crossroads of Ravens releasing in Polish late last year – but it looks like English-speaking fans won't have to wait much longer to read it now.

"As this new story finds its way to readers across the globe this year, I can't wait for them to walk alongside a younger Geralt," says author Andrzej Sapkowski.

Andrzej Sapkowski released a prequel novel to The Witcher late last year in Poland, and now we finally know when it's hitting shelves in the rest of the world.

The young, 18-year-old not-quite-from-Rivia-yet Geralt seems to have won over the Polish audience. And trust me, they see these books – and all The Witcher games – as one of their greatest national treasures. So, be careful not to complain too much, or they might never share a single pierogi with you again.
