Those in the NFL tell ESPN's Jeremy Fowler that the Chicago Bears are a team to watch in the free agency bidding war for Kansas City Chiefs offensive guard Trey Smith.

Just 10 days earlier, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams had been pranked into believing his team had hired Johnson, when a group of teenagers sent him an official-looking text message pretending to be the former Lions offensive coordinator.

Johnson was introduced as the new coach of the Bears on Wednesday in Chicago. And Williams, the No. 1 pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, was on hand to welcome him during his press conference.
