Three people were hurt when a truck crashed into a sidewalk shed in Manhattan. It happened around 8:30 a.m. Monday at 29th Street near Eighth Avenue in Chelsea.

Three pedestrians were hurt when scaffolding outside a Chelsea office building collapsed when it was struck by a box truck driver, police said. The driver slammed into the scaffolding on W. 29th St. near Eighth Ave. about 8:15 a.m.

CHELSEA, Manhattan (WABC) -- A box truck crashed into a scaffold in Chelsea injuring three people on Monday morning. It happened around 8:17 a.m. on West 29th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues. One person was seriously injured and two other people suffered minor injuries. All of the injured people were taken to Bellevue Hospital.
