The son of Deion Sanders threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns while completing a career-high 74% of his passes. On top of his personal success, which saw him be named Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year and win the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, he led the team to its best record in nearly 10 years, as they finished 9-4.
