Friends don’t often stay friends at the White Lotus. Season 1 drove a wedge between the college student Paula (Brittany O’Grady) and her richer friend Olivia (Sydney Sweeney). In Season 2, the newly wealthy Ethan (Will Sharpe) fell out with his obnoxious former roommate, Cameron. (And maybe swapped wives? Unclear.)

You know, I'm so damn happy that The White Lotus is still in its early, let's-chill-near-the-pool episodes while Severance is ramping up into Lynchian territory in its back half. If you're watching both series—which are arguably the best two shows currently rolling out on TV right now—I bet that you enjoyed goofing around with Rick and Chelsea at a snake farm after what you saw in episode 7 of Severance.
