Week 9 in the NFC North brought us a mix of football weather and some crazy weather, including hail in the desert. The Lions further staked their claim atop the division while the Bears continued their free fall. Let’s take a look at the three games on Sunday involving the division occupants.

The Lions surged at a sopping-wet Lambeau Field, decimated the rival Green Bay Packers, and maintained the NFC's No. 1 seed with a 24-14 victory.

The Packers didn't cover themselves in glory on that Gibbs touchdown, failing to fill any gaps on a run blitz, and as a team they had several errors the entire game. That doesn't take away from the drubbing the visiting Lions handed out.
