In order to achieve several goals, Lord Shiva appeared in different forms. Asa creator, destroyer, and being the Guru of Guru's, each avatar shows a different aspect of his divine essence.
The fiercest of all avatars, Veer Bhadra was born from Shiva’s hair that he plucked out in anger. This happened after Lord Shiva’s wife, Sati, immolated herself in the Daksha Yagna.
