A Richmond man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after shooting and injuring a person on eastbound Interstate 780 in Vallejo last weekend, the California Highway Patrol said Monday.

Vallejo Public Works is gradually switching to more efficient solar powered street lighting to prevent copper wire theft.
