Jasprit Bumrah was named the ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024 after the India pace spearhead produced his best annual haul in the red-ball format, the sport's governing body said on Monday.

Jasprit Bumrah won the ICC men’s test cricketer of the year award after the Indian fast bowler finished 2024 with a rich haul of 71 wickets in 13 test matches.

Rounding off Monday’s announcements was the ICC Men’s ODI Cricketer of the Year, won by Afghanistan’s talented all-rounder Azmatullah Omarzai, who capped a thrilling year with 417 runs at an average of 52.12, and 17 wickets at 20.47.

NEW DELHI (ANI)- Indian pace sensation Jasprit Bumrah has been honoured as the ICC Men’s Test Cricketer of the Year for 2024, following his finest-ever performance in the red-ball format, according to the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The Indian fast bowler won the ICC’s award for men’s cricketer of the year for his performances in both the red-ball and white-ball format in 2024.

Following his breathtaking performances with the ball in 2024, world No.1 Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah was awarded with the ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year 2024 award, the global cricket body announced on Tuesday.
