The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) said on Facebook that John Matthew Nigh was taken back into custody Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities in Hennepin County are searching for an inmate who escaped custody Sunday afternoon. The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said 46-year-old Billy Mason was being prepared for transport with additional inmates when he fled on foot through an open security garage door of the Public Safety Facility.

Howard Twilley died at age 81, according to his alma mater, the University of Tulsa. No cause of death was given. Twilley was runner-up for the Heisman Trophy during his time at Tulsa before he was picked by the Dolphins in the 12th round of the 1966 AFL draft.…
