The Scotland Run Wildfire in Gloucester County, New Jersey, is now 100% contained, fire officials told Action News Thursday morning.

A wildfire that torched over 150 acres in Franklin Township has been fully contained. Firefighters battled the blaze overnight near the areas of Pennsylvania and Proposed avenues. New Jersey Forest Fire Service said the threat of wildfires remains high due to lack of rain in the state.

Firefighters continued Sunday morning to battle the California Branch wildfire in Wharton State Forest. The fire, which has spread across two counties, has grown to 1,750 acres, according to a statement by the New Jersey Forest Fire Service posted on social media.
