Indian airline Vistara operated its last flight on Monday. The flight for took off from Odisha on November 11, marking the end of Vistara's operations before it merged with Air India. The first combined Air India-Vistara international flight departed Doha bound for Mumbai on Tuesday.

This merger represents the largest consolidation in Indian aviation since 2006-07, when Indian Airlines merged with Air India, Air Sahara joined Jet Airways, and Air Deccan was incorporated into Kingfisher Airlines.
