SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. (WBAY) - 911 dispatchers never know what the next call is going to be, but last week the Shawano County dispatch center received a most unexpected call for help. A 10-year-old said he needed help with his math homework because, as he explained, his family “wasn’t very good at math either.”

SHAWANO, WI (WSAU) — A Shawano County student stuck on a math problem took a non-traditional means of getting it last week. He called 911. According to a Facebook post, the student said neither he nor his family was “very good at math,” and called the emergency line for help.
