Passenger traffic hit a record in 2024, helped by a bumper December and holiday travel season, and saw 3 million more passengers than in the previous record of year of 2019.

About 83.9 million passengers travelled through Heathrow's terminals in 2024, the airport has said. Heathrow forecasts it will serve 84.2 million passengers this year.
