The plan to open the nation’s largest and most reliable charging network to all drivers is a potential game-changer in promoting EV use.

Tesla Superchargers are about to get a lot busier as GM EVs are gaining access to them. Customers must buy a $225 adapter and use their app to initiate and pay for charging. GM has already confirmed that native NACS ports are coming next year.

The access to Tesla's network gives GM customers access to more than 231,800 public Level 2 and DC fast chargers in North America.
