Heavy rains in North Texas prompted Flash Flood warnings in several counties on Thursday as storms rolled across the region for the second time this holiday week.

"The heavy rain has ended. Flooding of low-lying and/or poor drainage areas may continue for a few hours until the water has had a chance to recede. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," says the NWS Fort Worth TX. The warning is in effect until 2 p.m.

NORTH TEXAS – Rain is moving across Dallas-Fort Worth Tuesday along a cold front tracking west to east throughout the day. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for parts of Dallas,
