A 35-year-old woman and a four-year-old boy have been injured after being attacked by a dog in a street in the Borders. The incident happened at about 15:00 on Saturday in the Wilson Drive area of Hawick. Police said the woman and child had been attacked from behind by what they described as a brown and tan Staffordshire Bull Terrier-type dog.
