Detroit — A woman was shot early Thursday while driving down Interstate 94 on the city’s east side with two children, Michigan State Police reported.

The shooting happened Monday in the area of McClellan Avenue and Lessing Street. When police arrived, they found a man in his 20s dead from gunshot wounds. A female suspect fled in a dark-colored SUV, according to police.

DETROIT – Detroit police are searching for the suspect accused of shooting and killing a man Monday night. Officers found a man in his 30s dead with a gunshot wound in the 9200 block of Kercheval Avenue on Dec. 23, 2024, at around 8:40 p.m. Police said the suspect left the area in a white SUV.

The shooting happened on Dec. 23 in the area of McClellan Avenue and Lessing Street, police said in a news release. The suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
