A team picks a player and then that player eventually signs a contract with his new team. However, things may not be so simple next year, and that's because it sounds like Deion Sanders might throw a wrench into things.

The move echoes one Sanders made during his own draft process in 1989. The Giants asked draft prospects to take a two-hour psychological assessment at the NFL Scouting Combine. Upon learning the Giants had the 18th pick in the draft, Sanders declined to take the assessment.

The Colorado football program has had a very successful season up to this point, with Deion Sanders currently in the running for a Coach of the Year nod and the team sitting pretty at 7-2, with legitimate playoff aspirations.
