Hulu is developing a sequel to "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" with Sarah Michelle Gellar reprising her role as Buffy Summers.

Hulu's dusting off the stakes and getting ready to breathe new life into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but this isn’t your average trip down nostalgia lane.

Gellar, who appears in Paramount+ with Showtime’s “Dexter” revival prequel “ Dexter: Original Sin ,” had until recently been closed to the idea of a “Buffy” return.
