While in line we heard about the lines on the weekend and that people avoid weekends at all cost. We went on a Wednesday night and we parked a long way away from the entrance. We got there about 6:30 and we didn't see our first pumpkin until about 7:57. I hope this helps you and enjoy the pumpkins.

I would plan for a 2 1/2 to 3 hour time span. The traffic can be a major setback on time. If you don't mind walking a ways, I would say to park close by and walk. Just be sure to use the crosswalks as New Cut can be a very dangerous road especially with it being so dark near the park.

The best part of this location is the difference between living in the hustle and bustle of downtown frenzy to calm, cool and the expressive side. The amphitheater at this park has hosted many performances from Shakespeare Plays to Hard Rock Bands......truly the place to visit!
