Great way to spend the afternoon. Beautiful gardens. Took a sunset cruise from the sightseeing cruise boat at the river.Full review by Tami M

The view of Detroit is pretty cool. The sculpture garden is also a great local feature. Unfortunately, the geese and their poop are annoying and a major drawback to the entire experience.Full review by ONTARIO1981

As others have said,, there is only one option to cross the Detroit River- and the international boundary- by public transportation. That is Windsor Transit, the bus service through the Detroit-Windsor tunnel linking the two downtowns. The buses are fully accessible if that is a concern and it is a short trip. Check their website and also check the calendar for professional sporting events in the Dretroit area (NBA, NHL this time of year) as the buses can fill up fast on those days. If you want to do more sight seeing along either side of the river, it may be worth while to rent a car and drive either the bridge or the tunnel yourself.
